Passage: Ephesians 6:16

Main Idea: Take up the shield of faith so you can extinguish Satan’s flaming arrows.

I. The shield of faith shelters us from Satan’s attacks.

II. The shield of Faith is our belief in God and His word.

III. The shield of faith is only beneficial when it is taken up.
            A. We must intentionally take up the shield of faith.
            B. We must take up the shield of faith in all circumstances.

IV. Without the shield of faith, we are vulnerable to the enemy’s flaming arrows.
            A. The arrow of deceit causes us to turn away from God.
            B. The arrow of doubt causes us to lose trust in God.
            C. The arrow of dread causes us to disobey God.
            D. The arrow of despair causes us to grow stagnant in our walk with God.

V. When we take up the shield of faith, we can extinguish every flaming arrow.

VI. Taking up the Shield of Faith gives us confidence.
