About The Word of God

We believe the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are inspired by the Word of God, inerrant in the original writings, complete as the revelation of God’s will for salvation, and the supreme and final authority in all matters to which they speak. (Matt. 5:17; Rom. 15:4; 1 Cor. 2:13; 2 Tim. 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:21; Heb. 4:12)

About The Trinity

We believe in one God, creator and sustainer of all things, eternally existing in three persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; that these are equal in every divine perfection and that they execute distinct but harmonious offices in the work of creation, providence, and redemption. (Gen. 1:26; Is. 6:8; Matt. 3:16-17; Matt. 28:19; 2 Cor. 13:13-14)

About God the Father

We believe in God the Father, an infinite, personal Spirit, perfect in holiness, wisdom, power, and love. We believe He concerns Himself mercifully in the affairs of men, that He hears and answers prayer, and that He saves from sin and death all who come to Him through Jesus Christ. (John 6:27; Acts 17:29; Eph. 4:6; Heb. 1:1-3)

About Jesus Christ

We believe that Jesus Christ is God’s eternal Son, who has precisely the same nature, attributes and perfections as God the Father and God the Holy Spirit. We believe further that He is not only true God, but true man, conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. We also believe in His sinless life, His substitutionary atonement, His bodily resurrection from the dead, His ascension into heaven, His priestly intercession on behalf of His people, and His personal, visible, pre-millennial return from heaven. (Matt. 16:16; Luke 1:30-35; John 1:1-2, 1:18, 3:16; Heb. 1:8; Rev. 19:16)

About the Holy Spirit

We believe in the Holy Spirit, His personality, and His work in regeneration, sanctification, and preservation. His ministry is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ, and implement Christ’s work of redeeming the lost and empowering the believer for godly living and service. (John 16:7-13, 14:16-17; Acts 1:8, 5:3-4; 1 Cor. 2:10-11; 2 Peter 1:21)

About Man

We believe God created man, male and female, in the image of God and free from sin. We further believe man, as a result of Adam’s sin, is a sinner by nature and choice and is therefore spiritually dead. We also believe that those who repent of sin and trust Jesus Christ as Savior are regenerated by the Holy Spirit. (Gen. 1:26, 2:7, 17; Jer. 17:9; Rom. 3:10-18; 1 John 3:8)

About Salvation

We believe in salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. We further believe that this salvation is based upon the sovereign grace of God, was purchased by Christ on the cross, and is received by man, once forever, through faith, apart from any human merit, works, or rituals. (Rom. 6:23; Eph. 2:8, 9; John 1:12; 2 Cor. 5:21; Gal. 3:13; Titus 3:5; 1 Peter 3:18)

About Resurrection of the Body

We believe in the bodily resurrection of the saved and lost, the eternal existence of all men either in heaven or hell, in divine judgments, rewards and punishments. (John 5:28; 1 Thess. 4:13-18; Rev. 20:4, 11-15)

About The Church

We believe that the Church is a spiritual body of which Christ is the head. We believe that the true Church is composed of all persons who through saving faith in Jesus Christ have been regenerated by the Holy Spirit. We believe that this body expresses itself in local assemblies whose individuals have been baptized upon credible confession of faith and have associated themselves for worship, for instruction, for evangelism, and for service. We believe the ordinances of the local church are believer’s baptism by immersion and the Lord’s Supper. (Matt. 16:18; 1 Cor. 1:2, 12:27-28; Eph. 1:22-23, 4:12; Col. 1:18)

About The Personality of Satan

We believe that there is a fallen angel named Lucifer who is the Devil, a being of great cunning and power; the Prince of the Air, the Prince of the World that prowls around like a roaring lion seeking someone to devour, who has been cast out of the highest Heavens, and whose power is limited by God. He shall be cast into the Lake of Fire forever. (Is. 14:12; Eph. 2:2; John 12:31, 16:11; Heb. 2:14; 1 Peter 5:8)
