Passage:  Philippians 2

Main Idea:  Service is a way for followers of Jesus to proclaim Him as we build-up the church around us.

I. When we serve, we reflect Jesus in three ways.
            A. When we serve, we reflect the posture of Jesus.
            B. When we serve, we reflect the work of Jesus.
            C. When we serve, we reflect the attitude of Jesus.

II. When we serve, we achieve true greatness.
            A. To achieve greatness, we must serve with humility.
            B. God will exalt the humble servant at the proper time.

III. When we serve, we build-up the church.
            A. God has uniquely gifted each of us to serve in His kingdom.
            B. We all have a vital place to serve in the Body of Christ.
