Passage:  1 Corinthians 2:1-16

Main Point:  God has revealed His wisdom to those who believe and hidden it from those who do not.

I. The wisdom of God is Jesus Christ and the cross.  (1-5)
            A. We do not depend on ability.
            B. We do depend on God’s power

II. The wisdom of God was hidden before creation.  (6-11)
            A. The wisdom of the age leads to nothing.
            B. The wisdom of God leads to glory.
                        1.  The mystery is Christ in you.  (Colossians 1:27)
                        2.  The plan began before the ages.  (Ephesians 1:4)

III. The wisdom of God is revealed to the believer.  (12-16)
            A. Our understanding comes by God’s Spirit.
            B. Our belief cannot be judged by the world.
