Passage:  Ephesians 6:10-13

Big Idea:  The war for minds and hearts is won by putting on Christ.

I. We are called to action. (v.10)
            A. The Christian life is warfare.
            B. I need to be tested.
            C. I experience God’s power as I conform to Christ.

II. We are called to get equipped. (11, 13)
            A. This doesn’t happen automatically.
            B. We get equipped as we get into the Bible.
            C. Dig in and don’t get knocked off course.

III. We are called to spiritual war. (12)
            A. Satan fights to control people.
             (Gen. 3:1; Rev. 12:7-11; Mat. 4:3; Jn. 8:44; 1 Pt. 5:8; 2 Cor 4:4, 11:13-15)
            B. His organization fights to control nations. (Rev. 12:4; Dan. 10:13-20)
            C. Resistance begins with the power of the Gospel.
