Big Idea:  The resurrection means I can be free from sin and live for God.

I. Count yourself alive to God and dead to sin. (1-11)
            A. To die to sin means separation from sin.
            B. At salvation, the power of sin is broken.
            C. Jesus took my death and gives me His life.

II. Surrender yourself to God, not to sin. (12-14)
            A. When sin reigns, you are not in control.
            B. Momentary choices have eternal consequences.
            C. Grace results in freedom from sin and obedience to Christ.

III. We are free to serve and obey God. (15-23)
            A. Slaves to sin cannot serve God.
            B. Life change is the result of heart change.
            C. Commit yourself to Christ and live.
