Passage:  Eph. 3:8-13

Main Idea:  Even angels are in awe of how God brings many sinners into one family through Christ.

I.  Our salvation is all God’s doing. (7-8a)
      A. The focal point of our work is making Jesus known.
      B. The means of our work is an active relationship with Jesus. (cf. Jn 15:5)
      C. Respond to God’s work in us with humility. (cf. 1 Cor 15:8-10)

II. Our work is to know and share God’s plan. (v.8b-9)
      A. Paul proclaimed it and explained it.
      B. Everyone is supposed to hear it.
      C. Respond to receiving the light by sharing the light.

III. Our purpose is to reveal the wisdom of God. (v.10-13)
      A. God’s wisdom is the unity of the church in Christ.
      B. We participate in a spiritual war with victory!  (cf. 6:11-12).
      C. Jesus is ours and we are His!
      D. If there is persecution, it is because people are being saved.
