Passage:  Jude 12-19

Main Point:  The church must be open to everyone, yet wise about each one.

I. The body of Christ is a beautiful thing.
            A. Lives are transformed by God’s work.
            B. Deep friendships are made that endure trials.
            C. Great fellowship encourages the heart.

II. This beauty can also appeal to those with false motives.  (v 12-16)
            A. People with evil intentions bring no value.
                (Satisfy own needs)   (Wandering stars may refer to the planets)
            B. Those who undermine God’s church will face God.
            C. Their character is boasting and pandering.

III. Wise believers guard beauty while enjoying it.  (v 17-19)
            A. We guard the beauty of the church by being true to scripture.
            B. We hear the Lord’s warning about these people.
            C. We keep the door open and the eye sharp.
