Passage:  Mark 15:1-39

Main Idea:  See Jesus crucified for you and stop pushing Him out of the way.

I. Jesus gets in the way—so let Him. (1-15)
            A. Jesus wants more than to just fit in my life.
            B. Righteousness is not based on what is better.
            C. We mute discomfort and avoid silence.
            D. See how much Jesus took when he took my place!

II. Jesus is the way. (16-32)
            A. I need to get into Jesus.
            B. Jesus fully entered my suffering and sorrow.
            C. Jesus took my path so that I might take His.

III. Follow Jesus. (33-39)
            A. Jesus provides everything I lack, even faith.
            B. In Christ, I can approach God without guilt or shame.
            C. Stand in the Centurion’s sandals and reflect on Christ crucified.
