Passage:  Ephesians 4:7-16

Big Idea:  Jesus gives all we need to live in obedience to Him with one another.

I. After saving grace comes enabling grace.  (7-10)
            A. What Christ has given you won’t run out.
            B.  He experienced my sin in every way but the doing of it.
            C.  Jesus the man is God who experienced and meets my every need.

II.  Make spiritual growth a goal.  (11-13)
            A. God wants me to understand His Word and respond to it.
            B. Identify the body building work God is preparing me to do this week.
            C. The witness I give is affected by the life I live.
            D. Gain confidence in grace and gear up to keep growing.

III. Work to grow in the grace Jesus gives. (14-16)
            A. Defend against deception by studying your Bible.
            B. Truth is not words only, but corresponding action.
            C. Jesus brings growth and guidance to His Body, the Church.
