Passage:  Revelation 20:11-15

Main Point:  Despite our best efforts (works) no one can enter heaven without Jesus.

I. The courtroom and Judge are ready.   (11)
            A. The throne reveals the importance of the event.
            B. Creation flees into non-existence.

II. The cases presented are examined in detail.   (12-13)
            A. Every charge and every defense are recorded.  (Romans 3:23)
            B. Those appearing are judged by their works.
            C. Those appearing are the dead from all ages.  (John 5:24; John 3:18; Matthew 7:22-23)

III. The verdict given is final and eternal.   (14-15)
            A. The second death is separation from God.
            B. The Book of Life are those in Christ.
