Passage:  Mark 12:18-27

Main Idea:  Our hope is founded on the truth and power of God’s Word.

I. Rely on God’s supply. (18-19)
            A. The Sadducees found security in material gain and position.
            B. God desires faith expressed in obedience.
            C. God’s Word is for our good, not our gain.

II. Have a resurrection perspective (20-27)
            A. God is powerful enough to make it happen.  (Romans 4:17; Hebrews 11:19)
            B. The resurrection body will never die.
            C. A relationship with God does not end.
            D. Without faith in Christ, I am dead.
            E. Without belief in the physical resurrection, I am lost and hopeless.
