Passage:  2 Corinthians 4:1-18

I. The secret is Christ in me, not me in a different set of circumstances.
            A. We turn from the past to the truth in Jesus Christ.
            B. We walk by faith in Jesus Christ.
            C. We trust in Jesus who knows the way.

II. Don’t dig up in doubt what you planted in faith.
            A. Our human limitations do not limit God.
            B. Even crushing blows cannot limit God.
            C. Jesus remains true even in the face of martyrdom.

III. Fear arises when we imagine that everything depends on us.
            A. The Lord’s resurrection shows His power over death.
            B. Take courage from the gospel’s growth in the world.
            C. By faith, look past the challenges to eternal glory.
