Main Point:  Courage is an act of the will to step out of the comfort zone.

I. Being too comfortable can be dangerous.
            A. Physical comfort.
            B. Social comfort.
            C. Mental comfort.
            D. Spiritual comfort.

II. God has created us for adventure.
            A. We see examples in the Bible.
            B. We see the example of Jesus.
            C. We see examples in creation.

III. Don’t allow comfort to neutralize courage.
            A. Take an honest look at fear.
            B. Remember your former zeal.
            C. Step out of your comfort zone.
