Passage:  Philippians 1:12-30

Main Point:  Rejoice in persecution because Jesus is being proclaimed.

I. We see things differently.  (v 12-18)
            A. Some think the Gospel message can be stopped.
            B. Some think the Gospel can be used for their own gain.
            C. We learn the Gospel message overrides opposition.

II. We have a new motivation.  (v 19-26)
            A. Telling others about Jesus is our highest act of worship.
            B. We have everything in Jesus.
            C. Working to see others enjoy Christ is our mission.

III. Make the Gospel message a priority.  (v 27-30)
            A. Join with those who have Gospel-motivation.
            B. The Gospel asks people to accept or reject Jesus.
            C. Opposition is opportunity for Gospel growth.
