Passage: 1 Corinthians 15:35-58

Main Point: The resurrection makes all things new.
I. Our resurrected body is a different nature. (35-44)
A. Different natures are all around us. (35-41)
1. A seed produces an entire plant.
2. Creatures are different from one another.
3. Stars and planets are made differently.
B. Our resurrected bodies are different. (42-44)
1. Jesus ate food. (Luke 24:41-42)
2. Jesus walked on the road. (Luke 24:13ff)
3. The disciples held His feet. (Matthew 28:9)
4. Jesus entered through locked doors. (John 20:19)
5. Thomas could touch His wounds. (John 20:27)
II. God will change us from mud to majesty. (45-49)
A. Adam was created from dust.
B. Jesus is the heavenly man.
C. God does the impossible.
1. God is not limited by decay.
2. God is not limited by blemishes.
3. God is not limited by physics.
4. He is not limited by our imagination. (1 Corinthians 2:9)
III. We will be changed in an instant. (50-58)
A. The resurrection will occur quickly.
B. Death will be forever defeated.
C. Therefore, keep on serving God.
