The Resurrection of the Believer (1 Corinthians 15:1-34)

Main Point:  The resurrection is a core belief for the Christian.

I. The gospel is a message that does not change.  (1-11)
            A. The gospel has not changed.  (1-8)
            B. Every apostle declared the same gospel.  (9-11)

II. The resurrection is a core part of the gospel.  (12-19)
           
A. Some are saying we are not raised.  (12)
            B. Without the resurrection our faith is worthless.  (13-19)

III. Christ was resurrected first.  (20-28)
            A. Christ is the first-fruits of the resurrection.  (20-23)
            B. Christ is raised to rule over everything.  (24-28)

IV. The resurrection is our hope.  (29-34)
            A. Those who baptize for the dead do so in hope.  (29)
            B. Those who suffer persecution do so in hope.  (30-32)
            C. Those without hope corrupt others.  (33-34)
