Passage:  Revelation 17:1-18

Main Point:  The lie of false religion is used and then destroyed by the beast.

I. The name of the prostitute is shocking to the Apostle.   (1-6)
            A. The prostitute conspires with the rulers of the world.
            B. The prostitute is adorned with the fruits of her sin.
            C. The Apostle John is shocked at who she is.

II. The antichrist uses the false system for his own purposes.  (7-14)
            A. The beast is the antichrist, the man of sin.
            B. The woman (prostitute) is the false religious system.
            C. The beast manipulates the people through the system.

III. The prostitute will be destroyed by her lovers.   (15-18)
            A. The extent of the religious system is worldwide.
            B. The political rulers hate having to cooperate.
            C. The rulers will ultimately destroy the prostitute.  (Daniel 7:23-28)
