Passage:  Luke 19:1-10

Main Point:  Jesus seeks those weary of striving and who want to believe.

I. Jesus came so you would seek Him.  (v 1-4)
            A. Zacchaeus’ hunger for money took him down the wrong path.
            B. The Gospel message means to disturb worldly comfort.
            C. Faith begins with the desire to know Jesus.

II. Jesus challenges the way you look at sinners. (v 5-7)
            A. Jesus invites himself into your sinful life.
            B. Jesus offers himself as a gift you cannot earn.
            C. Jesus offends feelings of self-righteousness.

III. Jesus changes the hearts of those who believe. (v 8-10)
            A. Jesus can fill your heart with abundant peace.
            B. Your new heart is displayed in your actions.
            C. Jesus invites you to follow Him in faith daily.
