Passage:  Colossians 1:1-8

Main Point:  The Gospel is taught by those willing to say something.

I. Those who know teach those who want to know. (v 1-2)
            A. Colossians is a letter from prison.  (Paul)
            B. Pouring your life into another is the plan.

II. The truth taught is the Gospel. (v 3-6)
            A. We believe by faith what God has done.
            B. We respond in love to each other.
            C. We rest in the hope of God’s eternal promise.

III. Those who know the Gospel tell others. (v 7-8)
            A. The church at Colossae learned it from Epaphras.
            B. You are a neighbor to someone.
