Passage:  Romans 8:1-4

Main Point:  God removes condemnation and provides righteousness.

I. The Point—No Condemnation.  (1)
            A. The judgment has been removed.
            B. The freedom is for those in Christ Jesus.

II. The Power—The Rule of the Holy Spirit.  (2)
            A. You were ruled by the law of sin and death.
            B. Now you live by the Spirit empowered life.

III. The Process—The Incarnation.  (3)
            A. We cannot overcome the power of the flesh.
            B. The Son of God came in the flesh.
            C. The Son of God has defeated sin in the believer.

IV. The Purpose—Righteousness is Fulfilled.  (4)
            A. The Gospel succeeds because of God’s power to give.
            B. We walk in relationship with the Spirit.
