Passage:  Romans 8:5-11

Main Point:  Those in Christ live by the Spirit of God.

I. We live out the motivations of our heart.  (5-8)
            A. We are driven by what empowers us.
            B. Without the Spirit it is impossible to please God.

II. Believers are empowered by the Spirit.  (9-10)
            A. With conversion comes indwelling.
            B. With indwelling comes life.

III. Life by the Spirit lasts forever.  (11)
            A. The Spirit of God raised Jesus from the dead.
            B. The Spirit of God will raise the believer.
