Passage:  Romans 9:1-13

Main Point:  Every generation must make the decision to trust God.

I. We grieve for the unsaved.  (v 1-3)
            A. Our sorrow may run deep.
            B. We may grasp at any solution.

II. There are missed opportunities.  (v 4-5)
            A. Israel enjoyed God’s great love.
            B. Many have been exposed to the Gospel.

III. God seeks each one to respond.  (v 6-13)
            A. God is faithful.
            B. Salvation does not depend on good looks.  (Genealogy)
            C. God chooses based on divine reasons.
            D. Everyone can choose and must decide.

        Romans 5 is impossible if Adam didn’t exist.
