Main Point:  Healthy marriage is built on unity of purpose and radical love.

I. Biblical submission is yielding one’s will for unity.  (v 18)

                        2. intelligence
                        3. long range

II. Biblical love is sacrificial and thoughtful.  (v 19)
            A. Love is not.
                        1. carnal
                        2. selfish
                        3. bartered
                        4. bitter
            B. Love is.
                        1. insightful
                        2. sacrificial
                        3. unconditional

III. Biblical marriage is two becoming one.
            A. One flesh is emotional agreement.
            B. One flesh is intellectual agreement.
            C. One flesh is spiritual agreement.
            D. One flesh is physical agreement.
