Passage:  Joshua 10

Main Point:  Trust God by asking and expecting the help he promises to give.

I. A war is being waged against God and his family. (v.1-5)
            A. The enemy is driven by fear and hatred.
            B. Don’t let the enemy take you captive.  (2 Corinthians 10:5; Colossians 2:8;
2 Timothy 2:26)

II. Ask God for help. (v.6-15)
            A. God keeps his promises.
            B. God is all–powerful.
            C. God hears you.

III. Persist in the faith. (v.15-27)
            A. The enemy has been disarmed and you belong to Jesus.
            B. The victory is secure, but you still have work to do.

IV. Let the God of Israel fight for you.
