Passage:  Romans 9:25-33

Main Point:  Anyone can be a child of God by faith in Jesus Christ.

I. God loves all His people.  (v 25-26)
            A. God used Hosea to teach Israel about grace.
                (Refers to a passage in Hosea)
            B. Paul used Hosea to teach us about faith.

II. God has not forgotten Israel.  (v 27-29)
            A Some Jews have believed down through history.
            B. Someday they will embrace Jesus overwhelmingly.

III. Some trust God and some trust themselves.  (v. 30-33)
            A. Those who were lawless gladly accepted grace.
            B. Those who were religious missed the point of faith.
            C. The foundation stone became the stumbling stone.
