Passage: Galatians 5:1-6, Hebrews 10:26-31

Main Point: A loving father will discipline his children.
I. Our heavenly Father will correct our behavior.
A. Earthly fathers practice tough love.
B. God will discipline His own children.
II. If we abandon grace we will reap sorrow. (Galatians 5:1-6)
A. Working for acceptance denies grace.
B. Real growth only comes from real trust in Christ.
III. Willful rebellion will reap consequences. (Hebrews 10:26-31)
A. Some may choose to rebel against their Father.
B. Our heavenly Father practices tough love.
C. He may call the unrepentant Christian home. (1 Cor. 5:1-5, 11:29-32)
