Passage:  Psalm 100

Main Point:  Respond to who God is and who we are in Him with joyful praise.

I. God deserves our joyful worship.  (1-2)
            A. Declare God’s salvation as your war cry. 
                 (cf. Psalm 42; Matthew 28:18-20)
            B. Worshiping God motivates me to serve Him.
            C. Response to God’s invitation results in transformation.
                 (Ephesians 5:18-19; Colossians 3:16-17)

II. God deserves our complete obedience. (3)
            A. Acknowledge who He is.
            B. Surrender your identity to Him.
            C. Submit to Jesus and His commands.
               (cf. Ephesians 5:21; Colossians 3:18-20)

III. God deserves our thanks because of who He is. (4-5)
            A. We bless Him by saying, “Thank you”.
            B. God is good and lovingly-kind.
            C. God’s grace to you never fails or runs out.
