I. Peace is greatly needed.  (Luke 2:14)
            A. It is more than a greeting and a feeling.
            B. Many are looking for it.
            C. The angels proclaim a new reality.  (Luke 2:14)

II. Peace has a great cost.  (Luke 12:51)
            A. The world wars against God.
            B. Jesus paid your penalty with His life.
            C. There is division between God’s family and the world.  (James 4:4)

III. Jesus is our peace.  (Luke 19:42; cf. Ephesians 2:14)
            A. God offers everyone a peace treaty.
            B. Jesus was given to fulfill your side of the agreement.
            C. Only those who receive Jesus have true peace.
