Passage: 1 Samuel 1:9-20

Main Idea: Worship almighty God who cares for you and hears humble hearts.

I. Hannah give to the Lord when she has nothing left to give. (9-11)
      A. After going nowhere, she goes to God.
      B. She give all her bitter, hurting heart.
      C. She gives all of what she asks.

II. Worship begins with the heart. (12-16)
      A. Eli could not tell worship from worldliness.
      B. Prayer is simply speaking with God.
      C. Don’t let experience-base worship replace obedience.

III. God hears humble hearts. (17-20)
      A. Hannah responds to Eli with grace.
      B. Faith in God results in spiritual transformation.
      C. One prayer can change a nation.
