Main Idea: God’s unshakeable love produces unshakeable people.

I. Learn the lesson of lament.
            A. When there is crisis below, look above.  (Ps. 57 & 60; Col. 3:1-2)
            B. Cry to God for help.
            C. Asking God for help tunes my heart to praise.

II. Gain confidence from God’s character.
            A. David’s heart is not shaken in crisis.
            B. He knows God’s love is unconditional.
            C. God will not abandon you.
            D. God keeps His promises.

III. Return to living by faith, not sight.
            A. Returning requires humility.
            B. Jesus is my sacrifice, my substitute and my deliverer.
            C. I trust in what He has accomplished.
