Passage:  Mark 5:21-43

Main Point:  Nothing is too great for Jesus and nothing can separate you from Him.

I. No one is out of reach of God’s love.  (21-24)
            A. Most reject God and the Savior He sent.
            B. No one can escape the penalty of sin: death.
            C. The Gospel reveals my desperation and my hope.

II. Trust God to replace fear with peace. (25-34)
            A. I have nothing to lose and everything to gain.
            B. God strengthens my weak faith as I praise Him.  (cf. Ps. 50:15; Rom. 10:9)
            C. Reach out for healing and find a Friend.

III. Jesus is the hope of the hopeless. (35-43)
            A. Stop listening to heralds of doom.
            B. Jesus has the last word, not death.
            C. Grasp the power and the compassion of Christ.
