Passage:  Matthew 22:1-46

Main Point:  In Christ is wisdom, assurance and courage.

I. You must have the righteousness of Christ.  (1-14)
            A. Those invited are both evil and good.
            B. But those who remain are clothed.

II. You must trust the Lord for wisdom.  (15-22)
            A. The enemies of Christ set a trap.
            B. Jesus answers by the Spirit.  (Matthew 10:19-20)

III. You must study God’s Word.  (23-33)
            A. The spiritually ignorant use a trick question.
            B. Jesus exposes the error and teaches the truth.

IV. You must maintain the proper course.  (34-40)
            A. You must love God all the time.
            B. You must love others all the time.

V. You must not fear others.  (41-46)
            A. Jesus asks the questions this time.
            B. Trust God and fear no one.
