Passage:  Matthew 10:16-42

Main Point:  In every age God promises His own ultimate victory.

I. Persecution will happen.  (16-25)
            A. The disciples are warned about persecution.
                        1.  The people have been kind.
                        2.  The warning looks to the future.
            B. The gospel will go to the nations.
            C. The Lord will return.

II. Trust only in God.  (26-31)
            A. Believers are not to fear men.
            B. God knows every need of every child of His.

III. All will be set right in the end.  (32-42)
            A. Heaven is the result for all who believe.
            B. Witnessing will not be easy.
            C. God makes the hardship worthwhile.
