Passage:  Matthew 7:7-12

Main Point:  Ask God for help the way you ask your best friend.

I. God invites you to look to Him for answers.  (7-8)
            A. We are encouraged to ask.
            B. We are told to search.
            C. We are invited to try the knob.

II. God exhorts you to trust Him for help.  (9-11)
            A. Most people can spot the poor father.
            B. God is a very good Father.

III. God calls you to live by the golden rule.  (12)
            A. You know how you would like to be treated.
            B. Therefore, treat others that way.
