Passage:  Luke 2:8-20

Main Point:  Always be ready to obey the leading of God.

I. Ordinarily, we are just trying to get by.
            A. The shepherds were tending their flocks.
            B. Most people are just tending their lives.

II. God wants to work in your life in a fresh way.
            A. The shepherds are visited by the angels.
            B. The shepherds travel to Bethlehem.
            C. God is ready to use you.

III. Live in anticipation of the invitation.
