Passage:  Daniel 12:1-13

Main Point:  A day is coming when the righteous will receive their reward and the wicked will face their judgment.

I. God has revealed what the end will be like.
            A. A great tribulation is coming.
            B. The object of Satan’s wrath is Israel.  (Daniel 12:1; Zechariah 13:8; Revelation 12:13)
            C. God will protect those who are His.

II. Judgment awaits all mankind.
            A. The first resurrection is to life.
                        1.  Jesus (first fruits)   (1 Corinthians 15:22-23)
                        2.  Church       (1 Thessalonians 4:16)
                        3.  Tribulation Martyrs            (Revelation 20:4)
                        4.  Millennial deaths    (Revelation 20:5)
            B. The “second” resurrection is to judgment.
            C. Many will roam and knowledge will increase.

III. The days of the tribulation are set.
            A. The length will be 1290 days.
            B. Many will be purified.
