Main Point:  God has the answer to the problem of sin.

I. Much of the world ignores God.
            A. Their behavior was bad.  v 1:1-4
            B. Their worship was empty.  v 1:11-13
            C. Their society was corrupt.  v1:21-23
            D. Wealth but no love of God.  v2:7-8
            E. Proud and self – important.  v2:12
            F. A contempt of others.  v3:16
            G. Selfish and self – serving.  v5:8-12
            H. Call evil good and good evil.  v5:20
            I. Glorifying godless behavior.  v5:22
            J. Seeking the occult.  v8:19-20

II. But God has not forgotten the world.
            A. God has a message of comfort.   v40:1-2
            B. The Messiah has perfect character.   v53:1-3
            C. The Messiah is a perfect sacrifice.   v53:4-9
            D. The Messiah is our savior.   v53:10-12
