Passage:  1 Peter 3:13-22

Main Point:  Faith in Christ results in fearless, grace-filled living.

I. The solution to all fear, is fearing God. (v.13-17)
            A. Don’t let unhealthy fear control your actions.
            B. Following Christ in suffering brings opportunity for witness.
            C. Good behavior is the best defense against unjust persecution.

II. Fear is gone because we stand in the victory of Christ (v.18-22)
            A. Jesus secured victory for us because he suffered unjustly.
                        1.  Jesus died for our sins.
                        2.  Jesus proclaimed his victory.
                        3.  Jesus is risen and reigns today.
            B. Noah is an example of faith in a society of decay.
            C. Baptism is a picture of dying to this world, and rising with Christ.
