Passage:  Philippians 2:6-11

Main Point:  Jesus left the glory of heaven to serve the needs of a dark world.

I. Glory was traded for grime.   (6-7)
            A. Jesus is God.
            B. But Jesus did not cling to His glory.
            C. He took on humanity.

II. Jesus humbled Himself to death on a cross.   (7-8)
            A. He was the God/man.
            B. He was obedient to the point of death.

III. Jesus is exalted to the highest place.   (9-11)
            A. Jesus was raised and exalted.
            B. A day will come when all will worship Him.
