Worship The Savior (Psalm 57:1-11)

Main Point:  Thank God at all times and everywhere for Jesus, your Savior.

I. Our God saves.  (v. 1-3)
            A. People, power and plans cannot save.  (v. 1-2; 1 Samuel 18-21)
                        1.  Make an inward turn toward God.
                        2.  Call on God daily.
            B. Jesus was sent to take away your shame.  (v. 3a)
            C. Wait on God to complete His work in your life.  (v. 3b)

II. Praise God in the middle of the storm.  (v. 4-6)
            A. Words can be destructive.  (v. 4)
            B. Worshiping God is an act of faith.  (v. 5)
            C. Jesus who suffered and died reveals God’s glory.  (v. 5)
            D. Worshiping God gives you God’s perspective.  (v. 6)

III. Praise God in the middle of the crowd.  (v. 7-11)
            A. Trusting God in the storm grows your faith.  (v. 7; cf. v. 1)
            B. Public praise and testimony teaches others to trust.  (v. 8-9
            C. Jesus who rose and ascended reveals God’s glory.  (v. 10-11)
