Passage:  Isaiah 9:6

Main Point:  You can trust the One who has perfect wisdom.

I. He is the boy born to rule.
            A. The Lord called Isaiah as a prophet.  (Chapter 6)
            B. Isaiah reveals a coming invasion.  (Chapter 8)
            C. The hope of the nation rests in a child.   (9:6)

II. He is Wonderful.
            A. The word pelé means wonder, marvel, extraordinary.
            B. He is wonderful because He is God.  (Isaiah 11:2)

III. He is Counselor.
            A. He leads with wisdom.  (Isaiah 28:29)
            B. He is great in counsel.  (Jeremiah 32:17-19)
