Big Idea:  Live with Christ in view, loving Him, denying self and serving others.

I. A husband must love his wife as Jesus loved the church. (25-27)
            A. Agape-love is sacrificial and unconditional.
            B. The church is the bride and Jesus is the groom.
            C. The husband’s love reflects Jesus’ love.
            D. The bride’s glory is to radiate Christ.

II. Marriage depicts the oneness we have with Jesus.
            A. The wife is the husband’s body.
            B. The head cares for the needs of the body.
            C. The duration of the command to love is ongoing.
