Main Point:  Trust in Christ by receiving His words with humble obedience.

I. Jesus expects His people to live by faith. (1-6)
            A. Seeing is not believing. (cf. Jn. 20:29)
            B. Jesus offends because He doesn’t fit in man’s box.
            C. The world wants Jesus’ works, not His words.
            D. Jesus loves when we believe His Words.

II. Steps of faith discover God’s enabling power. (7-13)
            A. Walk in God’s authority.
            B. God’s provision is better than my contingency plan.
            C. Be ready to share the Gospel.
            D. We recognize God alone as healer.
