Passage:  Psalm 116

Main Point:  We are saved to love God and proclaim His mercy.

I. Grow into loving God more. (1-2)
            A. God listens for the broken hearted.
            B. God meets me right where I am.
            C. Call on God in the good and bad times.

II. God’s mercy restores those who receive mercy. (3-11)
            A. The greatest pursuit is mercy and mercy’s God.
            B. God’s grace is mine because of the cross.
            C. I live all my life in the sight of God.
            D. Salvation is from God alone.

III. Respond with resounding praise! (12-19)
            A. Speak and sing of God so others will hear.
            B. God sees and is with His suffering saints.
            C. In Christ we are set free to boldly worship God.
