Passage:  Joshua 6:1-27

Main Point:  God totally destroys sin so you can live totally for Him.

I. Your struggle begins with the victory won at the cross. (v. 1-11)
            A. Satan and sin rules over those who are not in Christ.  (John 16:33; Galatians 5:24)
            B. Victory is given to those who “receive” it.
            C. Obedience is the evidence of your faith.

II. Everything happens just as God said. (v.12-16, 20)
            A. Get to know Jesus personally.
            B. God judged sin in the past as he will in the future.  (Jeremiah 13 and 14)
            C. It is not hard to believe.

III. God wants all of you (v.17-19, 21-27)
            A. God is always at war with sin.
            B. Praise God as your strength!  (Jeremiah 19; Deuteronomy 21)
