Passage:  Philippians 1:1-11

Main Point:  God’s family grows when we work together to make Jesus known.

I. God grows His family.  (v 1-2)
            A. We are called to serve together.
            B. We are united in one family, through the blood of Jesus.

II. God grows His family in times of adversity.  (v 3-8)
            A. We are called to participate in the Gospel.
            B. God knows what He is doing with you.
            C. God will give us what we need as we partner with Jesus.

III. God grows His family with love.  (v 9-11)
            A. God gives us instructions on how to love in the Bible.
            B. The motive of every action will be judged by Jesus.
            C. We are pictures of God’s love.
