Passage:  1 Peter 4:7-11

Main Point:  Use your time, to use what God gives, to honor Him in everything.

I. Life is short. (v.7)
        A. We believe in the imminent return of Christ.
        B. Keep a cool head.
        C. God uses prayer to change your circumstances or your mind.

II. Make loving one another a priority. (v.8-9)
        A. Have a warm heart.
        B. Have an open home.

III. God gave us abilities to be used in His body. (v.10-11)
       A. Give a helping hand.
       B. Peter divides gifts into two categories: speaking and serving.
       C. Rely on God’s Word and Spirit as you use His gifts.
       D. We worship God by using our time and abilities for Jesus.
