Passage:  Psalm 22

Main Idea:  Praise Jesus because sin and death are defeated at the cross.

I. Remember Christ was forsaken for our forgiveness. (1-10)
            A. Cry out to God for His promised deliverance.
            B. Jesus felt our shame as He was rejected.
            C. Learn to trust God.

II. Remember God is our salvation. (11-21)
            A. Jesus poured out His life.
            B. The Father gave His Son.
            C. God is my salvation, even in death.

III. Remember to praise God. (22-31)
            A. Worship God in unity.
            B. Worship because God hears and cares for you.
            C. Worship because death is powerless.
            D. The whole world will worship Him.
