Main Point:  God might use people you don’t like to teach lessons you need.

I. Evil often seems to defeat good.  (Chap 1)
            A. Habakkuk asks God why He is allowing the evil.   (v 1:1-4)
            B. God announces His plan to use the Chaldeans.   (V1:5-11)
            C. Habakkuk is shocked!   (1:12-17)

II. God declares that the good will win over the evil.  (Chap 2)
           
A. Habakkuk waits for God to explain Himself.   (v 2:1)
            B. God works in ways we may not understand.   (v 2:2-4)
            C. But God declares woe to those who do evil.   (v 6-20)

III. Habakkuk submits to the wisdom of a holy God.  (Chap 3)
            A. He declares the majesty of God.   (v 3:1-15)
            B. Despite his fears, he submits to God’s will.   (v 3:16-19)
